Ethan is an old friend of mine. I was the chief writer for his award-winning magazine, People with Disabilities, a couple of decades back. He is a nationally known activist on disability issues and the founder of Next Step, a group with the ultimate goal of bringing people with disabilities together with other devalued groups to create a political movement. He is also one helluva writer of editorial pieces, if you ask me. He is 75 and has a three-year-old son, Ethan Junior. He is a man of intelligence, will and focus. He was, by the way, one of the advisors on disability issues to the Obama campaign. He is somebody to know and I have a feeling that his blog posts are going to be very interesting, if you have an open mind.
